Puffin Tackle Returns Policy

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at puffin.tackle@btinternet.com within 28 days of receipt to obtain a returns authorisation number (items returned without obtaining authorisation will not be refunded.  Please give as much information about the reason for the return and action you would like us to take, also include your order number, payment information and contact information.  The goods should be packed in its original packaging to ensure it reaches us safely.  The goods are your responsibility until we receive them – we do not accept any responsibility any goods damaged or lost in transit (we recommend you obtain proof of postage, this is a free service offered by the Post Office or other couriers which will enable you to claim in the unlikely event that the returned goods do not reach us.  Refunds for the purchase price (not including P&P) will be made for the products returned in an unused and a saleable condition (packaging intact) – Puffin Tackle will pay the postage for any goods returned due to our error.  Once an item is received we will appraise the item, then email you to notify you of the approval/rejection of your refund.  If approved, your refund will be processed.

Damages and issues

Please ensure all goods are inspected upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, we can then resolve the issue.

Faulty Product Returns

Should your goods arrive with a manufacturing defect/fault, please contact us at puffin.tackle@btinternet.com to obtain a returns authorisation number and details about how to return the goods to us in their original packaging within 28 days of receiving them

Most of our products come with a full manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defect, normally for 12 months from the date of purchase but this may vary.  Please note wear and tear, misuse, modification and neglect will not be covered.  Usually items must be inspected by a manufacturer’s representative before any replacement can be issued.  We will cover the standard postage costs of items damaged which are under warranty.  Products outside warranty or sent back to us as exchanges, or sent via premium or next days services are paid by the customer.
